Make something it helps!
Learning this has saved me, I swear.
Finding creativity later in my life and
becoming an advocate of it for others has saved me.
I have meaning in my day now.
I know more of who I am,
a clarity of what’s important.
I answered the frustrated rumbles,
that just kept coming.
The whisper of there is more.
I tried to fit, with what I thought would make me happy.
Without ever really knowing, what made me happy.
If you follow the breadcrumbs of happy in your past.
If you check into remembering yourself as
consumed with joy and passion in a thing before.
Go there in your mind.
What were you doing?
Go there in your body.
How did it feel?
Go there in your senses.
What are you finding?
It is there.
I know it is.
I have seen it.
I have seen it come alive in my clients.
As layers fall away.
As memories come back.
I have seen it in my own life.
As anger forced me to look deeper.
Made me grasp at the lifeline that came.
It’s ok for the seemingly small,
The seemingly silly.
To feel overwhelmingly important.
The bottom line is – it is.
It’s ok if you feel tears.
You’re remembering you.
If you’ve ever been called to make something.
And you’re feeling the call again.
Please
Make something.
Judge nothing.
Please create something.
It really, really does help.
